Blaming Palin ...

Professor Reynolds:
Usual Suspects
To be clear, if you're using this event to criticize the "rhetoric" of Mrs. Palin or others with whom you disagree, then you're either: (a) asserting a connection between the "rhetoric" and the shooting, which based on evidence to date would be what we call a vicious lie; or (b) you're not, in which case you're just seizing on a tragedy to try to score unrelated political points, which is contemptible. Which is it?

I understand the desperation that Democrats must feel after taking a historic beating in the midterm elections and seeing the popularity of ObamaCare plummet while voters flee the party in droves. But those who purport to care about the health of our political community demonstrate precious little actual concern for America's political well-being when they seize on any pretext, however flimsy, to call their political opponents accomplices to murder.

Where is the decency in that? -
Glenn Reynolds, WSJ

Can a FOIA be used to look at police incident reports? A blogger in Tucson is reporting that he has talked to some people who have seen them and that Jared has a record of threatening people but that Dupenick dropped the ball because Jared's Mommy worked for the County. The opinion is he should have had some felony arrests on his records if nothing else that would have prevented him form purchasing a firearm.

toadold - To me, the tone and frequency of Dumbfuk's statements betoketh a guy who wants his fifteen minutes of fame and underlying that, I sense a guy who is frantically trying to distract us from something going on in the background long enough to sweep some dirt under the rug. I can hear the scritching of the brooms every time he speaks.
Seems to me he is derelict in his duty in that he has an enormous multi-juridictional crime scene to police up with dozens of witnesses and victims, make sure all evidence is properly secured, statements taken and secured, all kinds of background investigating to do, the perp's life is on the line, it's uncertain if others are involved, and he's making political hay and probably endangering the prosecution by saying things that ought not be discussed until the case is buttoned up. A professional cop would have only a "no comment" or would give only a carefully prepared, terse statement to the public until the dust had settled and all the pieces were found, locked down, the Feds are satisfied they have all they need for their case, and the prosecutor(s) approved what can be said.
Dumfuk is selfish, stupid, incompetent, criminally negligent or ambitious to the detriment of his duties; IOW, a disgusting, cheap media whore. Pick one. Or two. Or three. Too bad he apparently can't be thrown off the case.
