No jury this side of Utah will convict you.
Phew....
I'd be really pissed if you started without me.

“Alcohol excise tax is a win-win for the state. They provide much needed revenue, and reduce alcohol consumption and related problems,” said David Jernigan, Johns Hopkins professor.
Obviously not an Economics professor. (I looked it up-- he's at the School of Public Health.)
Welcome to Maryland ! What's in your wallet ? WTF . smibsid
Trying to feel the rage here, Rodge.
Some knucklehead goes to bar for a Bud Lite. Instead of 50 cents for can, he pays $5.00 for a long neck. Now this financial genius is going to object to an additional 10 cent tax on his drink? Really?
If you object to alcohol tax, buy untaxed ethanol. You need a permit for legitimate use. I use mine for "scientific purposes."
and when drinking is reduced and the revenue stream dries up they will increase the tax.... Like tobacco in California.
Roge got the home brew system up and working?

For some reason I think about speakeasys, bootlegging, and smuggling. They raise the tax on ciggarettes and the first thing you know people buy them out of state or from crooks. I remember when they decided to put an extra tax on "luxury" boats. First thing that happens is the rich stop buying from those specialist North Eastern ship yards and they have to lay off workers. The left always thinks that force alone will change behaviour....and physics for that matter.
Call Oklahoma, get yourselves some refurbed wagon-burners sent your way. Set up shop on some "injun land" and buy all the tax free smokes and fire water you can stand.
Hard Rock did it ten years ago and they are now the largest employer in Florida. Each and every Seminole in the tribe (man woman and child) gets a check for $10,000 bucks a MONTH. Who's hot for squaw lovin?
{Heh Heh]
I like turnkey solutions.
The unit I linked is popular with foreign workers stuck in Saudi Arabia.
Fill it with a gallon of wine, dump out the first cup of distillate, and let it run 4 hours to make brandy.
