Hey, We Can Be ASSHATS Too Top Dem: We will ‘hang’ Republicans

“   Amidst a national dialogue about softening political rhetoric, members of an Obama-affiliated organization are threatening to hang Granite State Republicans in the New Hampshire House of Representatives, according to a news story in the Citizen of Laconia.  Top Dem: We will ‘hang’ Republicans ” What the dude said was “They’re [Republicans] going to hang themselves, and we’re going to help them.” And this is now viewed as over-the-top political rhetoric?  JFC!  Next thing, we won't be able to hang asshats in effigy; or we'll be criticized for not saying nice things about Jimmy Carter when he dies, and talking about what a godawful president, ex-president and total prick he was.  The fact is, we hate and mistrust everything Democrats do, and vice-versa.  That's the way it ought to be in politics, and hasn't been. A knife fight. If you're at a square dance with a political enemy, dance with them.  That ain't politics, and they ain't enemies then. Specially if they're cute and have nice legs and fancy décolletage. Am I right? (I meant that in the manly way, yours may differ).
