Is Giffords a shoo-in for Kyl’s seat?

Cites losing half her brain makes her uniquely
qualified for the U.S. Senate; McCain's equal.

I'm mind-boggled to the grody max that the WaTimes says, yes, she's a shoo-in. But upon reflection, this is a state what elected Janet Napolitano governor - twice! And just re-elected John McCain!! Arizona is not close to being Texas, let alone Oklahoma on the "Live Free or Die" chart. More like Michigan, or North Carolina, but better than Maryland.
