I remember as a young one, a few years after WWII, being allotted 1/2 of a juice glass of juice in the AM at the breakfast table. That was all I needed for my daily Vitamin C requirement. We NEVER had a full glass of juice unless we were at a restaurant, and even then had some guilt about having 'so much' juice at one time.
Now I have an idea why.
