...and be sure to look both ways, boys.
I still have a hard time with the fact that those four are my contemporaries and two of them are dead, especially that one was shot to death. Drugs or a plane crash, maybe, but shot to death?

They still sound fantastic, personal feelings aside.
And of the living, one is braindead, the other happily ugly.

I always thought that Ringo was the most grounded, and the only one I'd like to get drunk with.
George Benson, when he was first starting out and before he did those pop-jazz hits in the late 70's, did an album entitled "The Other Side Of Abbey Road" of the songs on that Beetles album and it was great. I forget who all played on it, it was on Creed Taylor's label and he had a pretty good stable back then.
The cover was George with his guitar, some big old arch-top Gibson or Gretch, crossing the street in Detroit or somewhere. Fantastic photo. I am sitting here beside myself wondering if it could have been re-issued on CD at some point.

This was George Benson's album, and although I've always preferred the MG's version, there's no reason not to like George's. He's got such a great voice.

And when people question my atheism, my standard answer is "Five bullets into John and NONE into Yoko??"
Does it make me a bad person if I laughed my ass off at rickn8or's comment?
