I saw that long ago on Kim du Toit's blog.
I gave a verbal version of that strip to some restaurant guys who were on break before starting clean up in an area that I was doing a security patrol. One kid started to just break down and was howling with laughter. We kind of looked at him in puzzlement and asked him why that broke him up so much. He said his grandfather was in the SS and he couldn't wait to tell the story to him. -

I always tend to find jokes like this a bit in poor taste. My grandfather died at Auschwitz.
After that, they quit letting them drink in the guard towers, it's a hell of a fall, he never had a chance.

I used to work at the Capitol Hilton in D.C. , our food , and beverage director was named Heinz Grubb . He said his father was a highly decorated SS officer , and had survived some of the worst fighting of the war . He was killed , after the war , when he was run over by a drunk American soldier , in a jeep ! SMIBSID,
