Blast from the past

The way new Blogger works is any changes to the logo or blog format are applied universally through the archives.  So I was surprised to find this artifact in my own archives.  If I remember correctly, I was telling a story on myself in this post. This is how I met Juice and Mr. Juice.  She stumbled across my blog and recognized Vanessa Dobbs as her daughters room-mate!  Vanessa left the Air Force when her enlistment was up, and went to college.  Juice Jr. is still in the Air Force and last I heard was shooting Talibanners from pretty much that same window.

Friday, December 19, 2003    A man was tired of being bossed around by his wife so he went to a shrink. The psychiatrist said he needed to build his self-esteem, and gave him a book on assertiveness.     He had finished the book by the time he reached his house. The man stormed into the house and walked up to his wife. Pointing a finger in her face, he said,     "From now on, I want you to know that - I -am the man of this house, and my word is law! I want you to prepare me a gourmet meal tonight, and when I'm finished eating my meal, I expect a sumptuous dessert afterward. Then, after dinner, you're going to draw me my bath so I can relax.
