Funy pikcher. On the other hand, that slide show about the disastrous California Public Schools implies that the problem can only be solved by throwing more money into the rat-hole. I suggest that it - too - was written by a California Public School employee.

That presentation was sickening. The Kalifornia 'educators' *spit* are complaining about 68 staff per 1000 'pupils' as not being enough.
I'm not sure if that includes teachers, but assuming it does, then my public high school, in a 70 year old un-air conditioned building in the ghetto, with not a blade of grass on the 'campus' and no athletic fields or stadium, managed very well with 32 staff per 1000 pupils, including teachers, the guy who ran the boiler room, custodians and all the staff in the principal's ofice, custodial, library and nurse's departments.
Note bene: there was no security department. What very few ruffians there were were dealt with by teachers and fellow students.
Students who failed a course, and they did, had to repeat the semester or the year, but in the end I'm guessing 99% graduated.
