What's that b______'s name again?

I don't know how it happened, but Bob Schieffer decided to be a newsman

CBS reporter Bob Schieffer decided to ask Nancy Pelosi the tough questions and cornered her on her Congress’s record on the economy. How did she react? Let’s just say you could stamp ‘hypocrite’ on her forehead after this.

“We’re talking in kind of a different way, when unemployment went to 5% under George Bush. What you said then, that Americans are struggling with skyrocketing energy prices, gas was only $3 a gas then, and you say this morning this is January 4th, 2008, this morning’s job report confirms what most Americans already knew. President Bush’s economic policies have failed our country’s middle class. I mean, aren’t Republicans entitled to say, you know, if gas was $3 and unemployment was 5% and the President has failed the American people, don’t they have a right to say that this President has failed the American people?” Schieffer asked (emphasis ours).

Her response?

“Well, if you want to go into the past, we can talk about the past all you want,” she said before adding that Americans are looking to the future.

Unfortunately, this comes from a woman and an administration that has defined their entire time in office by the actions and ‘failures’ of the Bush administration – Glenn Beck
Damn  that was good!

O.K. let's look to the future:
I mean, aren’t Republicans entitled to say, you know, if gas is headed toward $5 and unemployment toward 15% and the President has failed the American people, don’t they have a right to say that this President has failed the American people?”

This president has taken 172 trips on AF One at $182,000 per hour for AF One alone, not including all the support entourage, and 199 trips on Marine One, spending more time on junkets than time in his Oval Office doing his job, with a travel cost of more than $100 million, with no more concrete purpose than to bask in the adulation of picked, scripted audiences.
Based on that alone, I, a Republican, am entitled to say "This president is a malignant, incompetent, asshole of a failure."

I'm thinking that should be the campaign slogan for 2012.

Say what you will about Glenn but he is the most courageous MAN in the media today. He has put not only his career and money on the line but, his life as well to bring out the truth.

So many dismiss him as a crackpot and "doom and gloom-sayer" but, he has proven to be correct on virtually every point he has ever made. If he was PROVEN wrong he immediately retracted and apologized.

Soros has him in his sights and thinks he won by getting him off TV. You are wrong you commie bastid - you will lose the war commie and your minions will be shown as the socialist rat-bastids they are.

The last Republican budget was 2006 when unemployment was 4.6 and the deficit was 168 billion. In 2007 the democrats promptly double the budget the first time. In 2008 the democrats destroyed a fast three million jobs in the two months following the minimum wage hike. Of course Republicans predicted that. Then in 2009 Bush never even SAW the budget because democrats were playing games in an election year and did their best to hide the budget from the public. The budget for 2009 was signed by Obama because it was so late. Now after four years of democrat budgets the deficit is 1.7 trillion and real unemployment (U6) is at 20%.

Look up ‘Community Re-investment Act’. Lookup 'Barney Frank defends Freddie and Fannie', look up ‘Chris Dodd denies problems with Freddie and Fannie’, Look up how democrats forced banks to give loans to people who could never pay them back so much it overloaded the system with bad debt and the market crashed.

Thank your democrat buddies for this recession.

Obama promised to give us high gas prices 'like Europe' and to 'bankrupt energy companies'. He is keeping his promise although he hasn't noticed he is bankrupting everyone.
