Wow that is a lot faster than the system I'm using - I pull into the driveway - my 14 year old son jumps out of the car, runs up to the front door, unlocks it, opens it, walks through the opening and closes the door behind him (you have to be very specific with instructions for 14 year old boys). Then he runs down the hall, through the kitchen, through the family room, into the garage where he opens the latch and lifts the garage door. This is where my system still needs a little tweaking. Because at this point lacking any external stimulus resembling either a teen age girl or a soccer ball, he tends to stand there staring at the oncoming car trying to figure out if he should get out of the way or not.

Well making the openers may be a lot of fun but the expense is of concern. Also, what happens when the ex gets the opener in a divorce?
