The answers are

  • Did they work for the Nazis? Or even worse, did they kill any birds while drilling for oil?
  • the democrats have been after the koch brothers for a long time.
  • More Dem propaganda to destroy Reps. George Soros is the one who needs to be investigated. The Koch brothers are mere pikers compared to the political clout exercised by Soros who is bankrolling all kinds of Dem organizations and whose “Secretary of State” project is intended to pave the way for widespread voter fraud.
  • Wow, just wow. So after Obamas Cap-and-Trade fraud didn’t pass the smell test, Exelon and First Energy (who were supposed to be big beneficaries) have recieved the majority of the DOE’s recent spending. Does anyone else see this as a much bugger problem than the trumped up charges on the Koch Brothers?
  • Funny — another commie DemoRAT effort to take your eye off of how Obama is going to be funded and by whom.
  • Consider the source. I don’t see any proof behind the allegations, which are pretty serious (if the Feds want them to be) . Looks like the old “throw as much crap against the wall and see what stickes” method.
  • Etc Etc Etc
The Provocation is
Attacking The Kochs for Being American

This is Richard Mellon Scaife déjà vu all over again.

I like the Buckley formulation: "It's not that we are angels and they are devils, but that we seek to be angels, and they seek to be devils."

And we just accept the premise they are republican because this year they supported tea party candidates?

Long time lurkerwho pops up on occassion.
I work in energy markets and part of my job is to follow what Koch's industries do. Make no mistake, they are free market, hands off of business kinds of guys. In the same breath, these are the guys that complain about subsidies while they buy four new ethanol plants and now produce 1/10th of the US ethanol supply. Or, they say that natural gas shouldn't be used as a transportation fuel while neglecting to mention that thier chemical companies need cheap gas as a feedstock chemical and they they have large pipeline and refinement capacity that relies on foriegn oil.

So, they aren't saints.

I'd say that they are like most of us in that you can count on the to do what's in thier best interests, what they think they can get aways with and they'll do thier best to justify it if, and when, they get caught. On this one, selling to Iran, I think they've gotten caught. We'll see.
