Yeah. They diverted the San Joaquin valley fresh water to dump it in the ocean. Now they complain about not enough fresh water?

The fresh water issue in So-Cal is one that has always made me angry. Seems to me that if you choose to live in a desert you give up the right to complain about not having enough water.

Steve: Once so-cal gets a water right, that will be the end of it for any other use. So yea, they dump flood water into the Pacific, rather than give so-cal a new water right.
LA's bad habits during the '60s have come home to roost.
Don't like it? Stop watering your fucking lawn. Plant some junipers, spread some gravel, and be done with it. If you live in a desert, water should be expensive. -
