Four out of ten Republicans believe Mitt Romney would be the most likely candidate to beat President Obama in the general election, according to a new CBS News poll. Cain trailed in the category with just 20 percent... Electability, however, was not most Republicans' top priority when selecting a candidate: 58 percent said they believe it's more important to have a nominee who agrees with them on the issues than one who can beat Mr. Obama next year. Thirty-nine percent said the opposite. But the race could still change; seven in 10 Republican primary voters say it is still too...

They are a determined lot, eh wot?

$ out of 10 Republicans think that Romney could beat Obama. I don't believe that for a minute. I believe, really believe, that by nominating Romney to run against Obama would all but guarantee Obama getting a second term. The country is enduring him now. But we cannot possibly survive our already shaky existence by allowing Obama a second four year shot at ruining the United States as we know it for the distant and unforeseeable future. Romney's nomination will ensure just that.

Oops! That dollar sign should be a "4".

That dollar sign was actually correct.

I agree with the correctness of the dollar sign.

And now continues my long solitary slog on Rodg's blog to convince folk that Mitt Romney is a good man, a good candidate. Not just our best candidate to beat Bam-Bam, but a very qualified candidate to be an excellent president.

I'll start with this, tho it'll continue in the months to come. Mitt Romney is a family man. No Billy Carter or Roger Clinton in sight (the media has already vetted him on that).

How do you not like this guy?
From wikipedia:

Romney attended Stanford University for a year. Although the campus was becoming radicalized with the beginnings of 1960s social and political movements, he kept a well-groomed appearance and enjoyed traditional campus events. In May 1966, he was part of a counter-protest against a group staging a sit-in in the university administration building in opposition to draft status tests. He worked as a security guard again in order to fund secret trips home to see Ann.

Alear, very good however Herman is NOT a politician, is an outsider is a successful business man, married for 43 years to the same woman who is this tall worked his way to the top despite being black...what else can I say. I know the media has convinced most folk that he just can't win, he is not cute enough.
I am sick of politicians !

No matter your bromance Alear, he's still a devotee of big government. He thinks government works. That is why he is unqualified.

Nitwit Romney can kiss my big white @$$. That RINO loser isn't any different from what's already there. I'll vote for Cain. I might vote for Gingrich. I'd as soon vote for Nitwit as Perry. If Romney gets the nomonation I'll write in Fred Thompson.
