.300 Win Mag!

One quarter the cost of the Lapua and way more down range umph than a .308

And you can even take it deer, elk, moose, bear hunting without everyone giving you a funny look.

I have a Sako Finnbear in .300 WinMag. Accurate WAY downrange. I cannot imagine a better way to take down deer, bear, elk, moose, OWS'rs, or ordinary commie pinko democrat preverts.

.308 for one simple reason, parts and ammo. You don't want to be caught without either once it is all illegal.
