No political discussion in my lifetime could have benefited more from my rule than man caused climate change (AGW).  First, there are times when the intuitive, common sense answer is wrong, but AGW is not one of them. Simple logic dictates that the Little Ice Age was not caused by  the gasoline engine. And I could go on and on.  Second, since I've been following AGW, and before that AGC (20+ years), no movement has been outed for fraud, deception, and practicing bad science more times than have climate change Goreons.  This is why I feel that any politician who jumped on the Climate Change bandwagon is unfit for any national leadership role.  It indicates a fatal lack of  problem solving ability, or a willingness to kowtow,  or raw stupidity.  A few days ago I saw this on Invincible Armor. “ Forged documents, false data, coordinated lies and a community dependent on billions of dollars of grants and other monies to support the movement and salaries.
