Coulter vs. Malkin: Female conservatives clash over Palin

While I've noticed some leftward drift from Ann Coulter, I will for now side with the argument that Michelle Malkin (whom I also love) is making a bit much her statement "that the eventual Republican candidate shouldn’t pick “a novelty candidate” as their vice presidential nominee because it “would ring too much like Sarah Palin.” In fact, and without knowing about this kerfluffle, I had exactly the same thought when I saw that Romney had South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley on his "short list." It would be exactly what some (ahem) would expect from Romney, whose campaign ideology seems to be one of meeting perceived expectations of a group he really doesn't understand. Conservatives. The answer, Mitt, is John R. Bolton.

Well, that sorta disqualifies him from consideration as a political figure, doesn't it?

No other individual comes close to having the ability to rebuild our foreign policy vis-a-vis the scum of the world a.k.a. Venezuela, Norks, the entire Arab world, the Euros, etc.

Just the act alone of putting Bolton in as SecState would send a message to the scum that their reindeer games are at an end.

Putting John Bolton into a non-post like VP would be a terrible disservice both to Bolton and to the nation.

It would be akin to making Jensen Button change the tires on the McLaren F1 car instead of driving it in the Grand Prix.

Anonymous said...: I question whether Rambler will appoint Bolton to any position in his cabinet. He will be advised by 'advisors' that Bolton is just too controversial. After all, the Senate forced him into a recess appointment as W could not get him past Reid.
Sad that politics throws so much sand into the gearworks of a proper and decent confirmation process. We the people lose too many good candidates to political tit-for-tat games.
Someone should rap some knuckles, {or HEADS, but that might break something} and get these dufi to start earning their pay, and doing the will of the people. "We the people ..." It AIN'T THEM, they're the hired help.
