My dad had a '65, which he sold to an acquaintance who bought it for his son, who promptly blew the engine two weeks later.

Heya Tim, I also had a Falcon, not sure what year, hadda be close to '63. First and only accident I ever was in was with that tank: The opposition was a whining wench. The cop smirked. The ole man was wondering how I could do a 180 across five lanes at 35 mph. The judge ordered me to pay for the bumper I took out. Falcon!!! Falcon!!! Falcon!!!
So, some several years later, I picked up an Impala (not sure what year). A cop did ask me was it me racing that porsche on Bethel road last Sat'day. I said no, but it really was. - 6/3/12, 3:39 PM

You'll notice Dad recognized the grumble of that big block right away.

Try as I might, I just cannot see a future video called "My Dad's Car - A true Toyota story".

I still have my '70 Chevelle Malibu that was purchased by me, new, in May of 1970. I drove it for 36 years and it now has 676,000 miles on the clock. Replaced the original 350 at 345,000 miles and rebuilt the trans at the same time. In 2006 I purchased a Mustang GT and registered the Chevelle as a historic vehicle. It's now semi retired, like me.
