and the current crop of repugnants wouldn't think of challenging this for fear of the racist and/or re-election spectre.
I am apprehensive that Romney will not be any different, if elected. - 6/16/12, 11:49 AM

Obama could be impeached but, especially after the ill advised 17th Amendment, conviction is a political process: he would never be convicted. Why distract from the campaign to replace him?

Unlike some others (ahem), I'm not a birther. But let's go with it: Didn't he just grant amnesty to his own self so he could be on the ballot in 2012 in Arizona?

Excuse me if I'm repeating this story, but last year I wrote to my congress critter, Lady GaGa (Go Along to Get Along) Pearce and asked why nothing was being done to rein in the extra-constitutional activities of teh wun. The reply was that the congress was too busy trying to create jobs for the American pippul to want to mire the government in that kind of battle.
He was unopposed in the primary. I may consider voting for his opponent in the General Election because the man is worse than worthless.

If we took the Constitution seriously, we would NEVER have gotten to where we are now.
