...similar but different. Years ago, I was coming home from a movie, up a long downslope, during a serious monsoon. The water was about 4" - 6" deep, and, of course, running down hill. Up ahead, there was an apparently stalled Caddy in the left hand lane. I knew if I stopped to help, I'd get stuck, too. As I went up the slope, the water was splashing about as high as my roof, then arcing out. Just as I went by, I saw the passenger door open...
I guess it was my night to add insult to someone's injury. - 8/2/12, 3:04 PM

Revenge? I saw the dude in the SUV act like an ass trying to cut in when s/he could have just as easily cut behind, then blitz ahead, cut off the road just to act like an ass again. The car was in the right.

The guy in the sedan cut him off from his blind side. I hope the window was down.

Anon the sedan raced ahead . MOST German drivers know to allo9w every other vehicle in... this was obviously an Italian or American from the East Coast being the rude asses they habitually are.

Eastern Europe; very probably Russia or Byelarus. Typical attitude of SUV drivers there. SUVs are quite expensive there and affordable only for the wealthy who feel anyhow that normal traffic laws and common courtesies do not apply to them anyhow. The SUV driver clearly tried to cut ahead, pushing his way in because of superior horsepower and fatter wallet and when he did not succeed with his bully tactics he resorted to this infantile splash attack, behaving like a 5-year-old throwing a tantrum.
Revenge? Don't think so?
Looks more like childish bullying of a totally immature person with too much horsepower and money than is good for him/her. - 8/3/12, 4:45 AM

Anon at 1:28AM I've driven a bit in Italy (Napoli and Catania). Italian driving is a matter of parry and thrust, but in general it flows smoothly.
On the other hand, you have the Massholes going 40 mph faster than conditions warrant, or the arrogant quota-hires in their German cars lording it over others in DC traffic. - 8/3/12, 6:11 AM

Why was the camera running at just the right time? I'm never in that much of a hurry, I just chill and listen to the music. If a twit wants to cut in, whatever. Someday he'll do that to a hothead...

This is typical Arab driving (license plate is from an Arab country). They have such a sense of 'me first,' that auto accidents in Arab countries are far out of proportion to their driving population. It was very difficult to tolerate in the years in lived there. Like putting baboons behind the wheel.
