I lay 12 to 5 odds that by tonight Hillary will be Obummer's running mate. Unless she calculates that Obummer is so deeply damaged that she could only destroy her 2016 chance. If she does run, and should the ticket win ... I wonder what Clinton enforcer Buddy Young is up to there days? Bill would know.

Hey, Helly:
Two observations on your comment above.
First: The "insurance policy" you mentioned relating to Biden is positive insurance for Romney and Ryan being elected, we hope overwhelmingly.
Second: The only "administrative duties" that The Komrade Emperor Ayatollah will let Biden have is extremely likely to be swabbing out the toilets in the White House. You know, critical stuff like that.
An aside here: One positive thing that can be said for The Komrade Emperor Ayatollah is that he hasn't, as far as anyone knows, pulled a BJ Clinton/Monica Lewinsky stunt in the Oval Office yet.

Scottiebill, the VP has a Constitutionally defined office and is elected in his own right. The Prez can delegate to or withhold tasks and authority from the VP but he can't tell him what to do.
The country is so screwed up that even if Romney gets elected, he will have a very tough row to hoe. I would guess Hillary would rather sit this one out, hoping to pick up the pieces in 2016. Losing VP candidates do not tend to have much of a future.

If Hillary is offered the position, it would be in her best interest to take it, regardless.
If Obama wins, she will get to use his machine to get elected Pres in 2016.
If Obama loses, she still holds the cards, and can blame Obama for the loss.
Not taking it would result in being locked out by the the Chicago machine and the Soros crowd in 2016. -
