I don't trust a woman who doesn't know her own name.

I firmly believe that Cathy McMorris Rogers would make a great Speaker. At least she would not be pandering and bowing and scraping to the opposition like Boehner is continually doing.

Further, and it is going far beyond my political beliefs to say this, but Boehner is incapable of carrying water to Pinocchio Pelosi when she was Speaker. She was good, very good, at being Speaker even though she was on the wrong side of the aisle. We could not trust or believe a goddamn thing she was saying. She bullshitted us and expected us to believe it. Oh, she was good, alright but totally wrong in just about everything.

Boner has been a train wreck so it can only be an improvement. The last couple years the women in the party seem to have more balls than any of the lads.

She's a lying sneaky bitch and an effing moron on top of it all. She wasn't good; she was given a pass by her GOP peers and of course the MSM. I think you've confused competence with congressional complicity.

Worst case scenario - she wouldn't have to play golf with Obamaloney.

Seriously, she wants more government involvement in hydro-power - something you would expect from a WA state politician.

She needs to replay and listen to Paul Ryan's speech from last night.

I didn't realize Righty was such a fan of Boner.

He ain't. This is the establishment pick.

The TEA party folks who make it into the Senate will have their own ideas about who to replace Boehner with.

For whatever reason, Gadfly seems to have some sort of problem with hydropower. He probably has thae same sort of problem with coal-fired power, too. Hydroower is the most efficient and cheapest sources of electricity available, once the dams the generators are in are paid for. Rivers, such as the Columbia and the Missouri are endless providers of the impetus in turning those generators. I would like to see a t least a couple of dams put in the Yellowstone River to help provide electricity to a lot of southern Montana. BTW, the Yellowstone is the longest river in the U.S without a dam. Coal -fired plants are cost-efficient with an almost endless source of natural power. Wind power is good, but it just doesn't pencil out as far as cost per kilowatt-hours goes.

All that aside, Cathy McMorris Rogers will still be an excellent Speaker of the House, if and when she decides to go for it and run for the spot. That she is from Washington State should not matter to anyone.
