Veteran arrested for "words"

Police State Culture

Now what I was told by an FBI Agent, her name ... Agent Sherry Granger…she called me on my phone and told me that I am with the FBI and we have taken your son. And he has been arrested by the Chesterfield police department because he assaulted and resisted arrest.

The nature of Raub Brandon being arrested has come to no surprise to many since President Obama took office. In 2009, Homeland Security Department intelligence assessment released a report on American terrorism and unfairly characterized military veterans as right-wing extremists and other groups that they view could be domestic terrorists. [Full]

I don't know what Raub Brandon posted on Facebook, but according to friends  it was "because of posts just like yours."  Unless he overtly threatened someone's life, I can't think of anything that wouldn't be covered by the First Amendment.  This video of his arrest doesn't show"resistance," nor a  Miranda  statement being read. . We'll see, but the fact is that this administration have displayed all the hallmarks of a nascent police state.

No resistance? No Miranda? This wasn't about serving Justice, it was about serving King Barry. This was a message to ALL of us that they are listening, they are watching, and now they are coming! All those enormous bullet purchases by the gummint don't look so "innocent" now, do they?

I just looked up this guy's facebook page(s). He is a certified whack job. Ron paulite, 911 truther, believes the government is poisoning us from the air. Almost every post cites the coming revolution and that he will lead it. Something about secrets within the marine corps...
I saw nothing that should have gotten him arrested, but his posts put him on the watch lists.
There's more than meets the eye here.

The thing that's most disturbing is that the individuals in the fbi and secret service are actually implementing the jackboot policies of the blatant communists. And piss on all that "I was just doing my job" bullshit, at some point we all have to decide whether we stand for good or evil and wanting a paycheck is not a good excuse. Especially when that paycheck comes from the taxes of the people they're helping to repress. God help us.

K-nine, maybe you were being sarcastic, but the Revolution bit is in reference to a book by Ron Paul "The Revolution" which he even took a pic of and posted on his FB.

And I searched his wall and didn't see references about "secrets in the marine corps" but I could have missed it. His FB was about as average as your low level ideologue gets.

There is nothing more whack than AGW'ers, Obamunists,or anyone who posts on Daily KOS. Still, government has zero right to arrest, or even detain them for being nut-roots. We have clearly edged into dark territory since Obama was imposed on us.

His page may have seemed odder than it really is due to my reading it in the dark at 2am... But my main thought is even if he's a nutjob, I saw nothing to come get him for, and am a little disturbed by the lack of Miranda.
Still, there's more going on than a few minutes of you tube shows. I'd bet on it.

"Do you know what the secret of the Marine Corps is? Tell people they are Heroes and they will act it out."
That's the secret he's talking about. Nothing there to cause the Feds to arrest him.

I-RIGHT-I said...

I don't think that's the secret of the Marine Corps. Blow me.

No, I just went back to his original page 'Brandon j raub'. He lost me when he said that the Bush family has a secret castle in Colorado where they rape children.

You're right, I confused the marine corps line with one a few below it that says the corps is full of nazis now.

Note to bureauweenies and so called LEO's who violate their oath to the constitution and the people they are supposed to represent:
"I was just following orders" was not an acceptable defense during the Nuremburg trials.

Yea, he's a nutter.

It looks like the FBI is getting a bit proactive after three active killers have popped off in the last few months.

They hauled him in for a psych evaluation, failed to get him committed, and are now trying desperately to pin something on him to avoid getting their asses sued.

He's a nutter... But they need their asses sued for the way they handled it. It sets a bad precident, because in some people's eyes I'm a nutter.

I'm a bit surprised by the reaction of some of the posters here to the LEOs' apparent lack of historical perspective. "Don't they know that 'I was only following orders' was an unacceptable defense at Nuremberg?"

We've been saying for years that the public school system has been churning out graduates who have no historical perspective or any appreciation of what the Founders established. It shouldn't be a surprise that these graduates have been entering the workforce for some time now. What you're seeing in this event is the predictable result. No, these people probably never heard of Nuremberg. And what's worse, they don't care.

I guess he is being arrested for crimes he might commit. Being that is permissable now. Google it.
