The Left are quite insane. But, Why?

A Serious Question  In all seriousness (srsly),  where is the study on why Liberals in this country have, almost as a body, begun acting like they belong in Saint Elizabeth's?  We know now, or at least think we know, that the practice by Rome's upper class of using lead dinnerware caused them to go insane from lead poisoning.  What would it be today that our Liberal classes might have almost exclusively ingested in the past half-century that similarly affected them?  You will come to your own conclusion, but I've settled on the heavy use of psychedelic drugs like LSD, and marijuana. Or, maybe, those in combination with countless administrations of penicillin to combat syphilis did the damage? I'm not being cute here, and I think I'm on the right track. My postulation would also explain today's ruling educator class.   These people are not just "Liberal" thinkers in the manner of say Hubert Humphrey, they're insane.  Even violently insane. This is a national crisis.
