There was nothing on TV last night! I ended up watching hockey - Hockey! The Caps are useless this year... There were about ten channels of this crazy guy going on and on about how great he is, but i'll be damned if I would waste time on that - not while I can catch re-runs of "Pawn Stars" and "Storage Wars"...

Nothing on TV? Sheesh it's that way every night at MMs' because who watches that crap? Try a good book if you want thrills and chills-I'm just finishing the last book in Clavells' Asian Saga, Whirlwind-Horry Clap, about 7,000 pages of you can't put it down reading.

"Shogun" and "Tai-Pan" in particular.
"King Rat" is responsible me for starting to smoke again after a 2-year hiatus 25 years ago. His descriptions of the prisoners loving care of the tobacco are memorable.
Great stuff! Highly recommended reading!

Good post, Rodge. I count on you to dig up this stuff. Two things come to mind.
This combat range shooting looks like so much fun. On the farm, we weren't allowed to waste bullets on stuff that wasn't living.
What a win-win for this young lady and her family. She is going to have so many dates and her father won't lose a minute of sleep. Because they won't be any Democrats. -
