Nearly half are isolated for 15 days or more, the point at which psychiatric experts say they are at risk for severe mental harm, with about 35 detainees kept for more than 75 days.

While the records do not indicate why immigrants were put in solitary blah-blah-blah

At the least, while those criminal aliens are in solitary, they won't be taking the jobs from natural-born and legal aliens.

And, why are only a very few of the illegals in the lock-up, anyway? In my view, all of them should be, right up to the times they are put on a bus and returned to their own country.

But returning them to their own country doesn't always work, either. About Twenty or so years ago I was in a saloon in Casper, Wyoming when a friend who was a sheriff's deputy came in and told me he and a couple of other deputies had just gotten back from Southern California and had returned a number of illegals to
Mexico. He looked around the room and cussed a b;ue streak. When I asked what was wrong, he pointed to a guy in the room and said that he was one of the illegals he had taken back to Mexico. The son of a bitch had beaten him back to Casper!

ANNAPOLIS -- A battle is brewing in the General Assembly over whether to grant driver's licenses to Marylanders who are in the country illegally.

Vocal opponents of the bill equate it to rewarding people for breaking the law and warn the measure could turn Maryland into a haven for illegal immigrants, while supporters say the legislation is needed to make sure the streets are safe and everybody on the road has proved their ability to drive.

I live in a 'good' part of Mexico with at least seasonal work. The minimum wage is about five dollars and change. Per DAY. Lots of people get about eight or ten dollars a day, for a ten hour day.

If you had kids to feed, and could make eight or ten dollars an hour NOB, wouldn't you?

We need to be in control of our border (the Mexican govt sure is), but we don't need to be mean or brutal about it. We're not the Nazis, or the Roman legions. Put 'em on a bus take 'em to the border, give 'em a sandwich, an apple, and a bottle of water.

Why be hateful? Just because the libtards are? You all understand that the problem is that the democrat unions don't want their members to have to compete. But I don't see teamsters lining up to pick melons or spinach.
