The people in red are dead to their country.

Can we bury them tomorrow?

Yeah - Kaine's my rep. - snuck in office when the sick bastard little Jimmy Webb decided that being a US senator was no fun and didn't run again. Then the stupid party ran the dead horse George Allen against him. Elections have consequences.

It's not like representatives ever have to face their constituencies. Take my house rep - Scary Jerry Connolly, guy has never had an open townhall meeting. Webb never had one either. Warner had one back when Obamacare debate was going on but it was a love fest with Howard Dean in attendance and the audience packed with union thugs.

I mean think about it. What percentage of Americans have ever seen or met their elected federal officials? 1%? .5%? How many could pick them out of a lineup? Or, like the farmer in this story would even recognize them if they walked up on them while doing yard work. I just don't think this is what our founding fathers had in mind.

Unfortunately this is the model for today's Amerika. God help us all.

A little more indepth, ill-advised, half-cocked rant along the above line is here
