Detroit is done for.
You can tell it's in the last stage. When areas go downhill, the first thing to disappear is the lawns. They die completely and yards turn to dust..... In the final stages, when all hope is gone, everything turns verdant and lush. -

Lush...Just the reverse of Syria...the Assad mafia seized most agricultural lands and screwed it up worse than Zimbabwe.
The water has disappeared, the whole country is as bone dry as Saudia and there is no food whatsoever...a major famine is soon underway and all they are importing is bullets and bombs.
All in all, a very satisfying picture, another major muslim country self destructing...what's left...Turkey...Indonesia,

I had that happen to my lawn two years ago when the Texas drought that is still going on..damn global worming!...hit us. Now it is verdant and lush thanks to the 100 bucks a month I pay to Sugar Land water department. In Detroit's case I think they will have to wait until the sewers back up. That seems fitting somehow.

I wouldn't count Detroit out just yet. As soon as Boner & Cantor pass amnesty, they'll be passing out property in Detroit to the new homesteaders.

Geo is on to something. Citizenship if you homestead Detroit. The factories would have cheap labor (It would take them a generation or two to unionize themselves out of work) and that many Catholics would irritate the SHIT outta Dearborn!
