The Gun-Happy Swiss

From Wikipedia "...On 25 July 1940, General Guisan [commander of the Swiss Army] delivered a historic address to the entire Swiss Officer Corps…He made it very clear that Switzerland would resist any Nazi invasion. If they ran out of bullets they were to resort to the bayonet. He said that Switzerland would defend itself against any invader and would never surrender….Indeed, Swiss citizens had been instructed to regard any surrender broadcast as enemy lies and resist to the end..."
The Swiss: surrounded by the Third Reich in the 1940s and prevailed, surrounded by the Fourth Reich in the 21st Century and still holding out.

It seems the Swiss could give a rat's ass about the opinion of gun control advocates. That's a good attitude and should be taught in all U.S. schools as the proper way to address Fascists.

Two things about this piss me off; first, the pretty little gals have fully automatic weapons and I don't. Second, they don't have Houston's "Katrina Victims", or the usual victims of Houston's "Katrina Victims" to deal with. In addition they don't have Obama either so I'm the one that needs a fully automatic weapon.

I'm betting they'd shoot off your pee-pee at 100 yards if you messed with them, AND their parents don't worry about creepy gangsta thugs.

100 yards? That's pistol distance to the Swiss. They do rifles at 300 meters as a national pastime.

I'm heading to the gun shop before they run out of those AR-15 shotguns that CNN was banging on about.

The Swiss Federal Constitution was modeled on ours, with a relatively weak central government with limited, enumerated powers. The Swiss Cantons hold most of the power today, just as the American States did originally. There are nests of commies in Switzerland, but they are isolated in certain Cantons and don't infect the rest of the country.
According to Heritage, Switzerland ranks 5th in terms of freedom, while the U.S. ranks 10th.
The Swiss defended their version of our Constitution. We didn't defend the original. - 9/18/13, 9:46 PM

"The Swiss defended their version of our Constitution"
Let's face it, the Swiss were never a threat to anybody neither were or are they much of a prize. Not to diminish their martial culture but they haven't had to fire a shot in 500 years. It's not because they are so scary it because they are not worth the effort. They are the bank of the ratbastards and the ratbastards are not going to rob themselves.
The fact is, the Swiss suck. My opinion of course. - 9/18/13, 9:54 PM

"... in Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love - they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock." ~Harry Lime
