These guys are dead to me....Now if they would just be dead to everyone else also, we'd have a chance.

I wish I weren't so old - I'd primary Cantor. He's in the most conservative district in Virginia, so if a Tea Party candidate with some brains and charisma shows up, Cantor is toast in 2014.

Well if this did anything good it made the choices for next election less ambiguous. Those that got elected last time with the promise to "defund" and didnt should be primaryied. I have my eye on a joker in my area.
While you may not think you can win a national election you can run locally and have an impact. - 10/17/13, 6:21 AM

I'm just waiting for the usual GOP apologists around here to kiss the boo-boo and make it all better.

As loath as Iam to adopt any Russian customs at all, I seem to remember that they used to shoot any soldiers caught surrendering.
Not that I'm suggesting shooting our Congressional surrender monkeys, of course.
Hanging would be my preference...

I'll step up, Iri. Ya'll are being kind of thick today. We did quite well considering we only control 60% of one half of one of the three branches of government (and neither of the bonus ones, the Press and the Bureaucracy). We made a solid statement, and caused the Democrats real pain. And you guys, who should see how close you came to pulling an upset against your hated rival team, with half your players benched, should be pulling together and working hard to beat them next time. Instead, it's tantrum time, with lots of "I'm never playing this game again!". Yes, surrender the field to the Democrats, that'll control spending.
Pathetic. You don't see the NRA acting like this. But they're winners. They've been knocked down, but they get right back up, no whining, no sniveling, just, "That the best you got?". No, you guys know better, follow the Libertarian party, those guys know what their doing......... - 10/17/13, 12:07 PM

100% of House Democrats voted to reopen the Federal government and fund Obamacare. 38% of House Republicans voted with the Dems. So on this vote the Dems are 100% evil and the Republicans are roughly 40% evil, which sounds about right to me.
Part of the solution is to purge the Statists from the Republican party, just as the Dems purged their moderates. Start with Lindsay Graham in SC. The other part is to replace Democrats in red states, like our horrible Senator Kay Hagan in NC.
Whining is not a strategy. Voting Libertarian is the electoral equivalent of whining.

"I'll step up, Iri."
I knew you would Bob. No more comment other to say I think you're a good guy and I'm glad you're on our side. Hang in there 'cause no matter what we're in for a bumpy ride. - 10/17/13, 4:53 PM

At least my rep wasn't on the dishonor roll.
Even so, all the talk about a third party, or voting Libertarian is not helping. What we need is legislation making every national election a runoff election.
No elected official should ever win with less than 50% of the vote (like clinton did twice). That's the only way a third party will ever have a chance. - 10/17/13, 5:37 PM

Who said anything about voting Libertarian? Nobody. Hell, Libertarians are barely Americans. They don't know John Gault or Jack Shit. I'm still holding out for a military coup and those pay per view rights I've been talking about.
