Don't know, but they look like some of the little guys I've seen recently in the C&O Canal National Park.

Thanks Bill; Yes, Hermit Thrush. The reason I didn't recognize it in 'Birds of MD' is that illustration had the beak color wrong. Thanks. This winter id the first time in over 30 years of backyard birding this bird has appeared.

It appears to a bird. Should not be confused with a yellow-bellied sapsucker - which is found almost exclusively among the GOP congressional leadership.
