Both Ferrari and McLaren have got their times down to 2.5 seconds in practice, but that's with cold tires on the car.

no windshield or helmet wipe. And they don't refuel any more, so that saves lots of time. Not that that matters so much; today's engines are 33% downsized V6 units with limited fuel flow rate built for mpg
and less rpm. 2014 might be a real disappointment to watch. -
