To be fair the drone should be able to shoot back. Now that would be fun. It would also be more realistic.

So you're saying that during rifle practice at Fort Knox the spotters should be shooting back?

No of course not. We have live fire exercises like the ones in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and the US Mexico border for that sort of thing. I was thinking paint balls would do nicely for the drones. It would be good practice for the day they start using real bullets on us.
