Up here in Canada, before we abandoned our long gun registry, we found that a length of 4 or 6 inch ABS or PVC sewer pipe, carefully capped at both ends, and with a few packs of dessicant, made an excellent long term gun storage unit.
You can bury it in the forest, have a friend who has already been searched keep it or bury it in his yard.
If you have cast iron pipes in your yard you can bury it under that pipe so metal detectors will only see the cast iron pipe.
Or you can paint it kinda browny barky colored and put it way up a tree where it looks like a tree limb and the cops are not likely to aim a metal detector way up a tree.

Well that was destructive. Too bad this retard was busy with bridge club when the gun confiscation law was passed. If her random-act-of-defiance makes you feel good, think again. The state is drooling at the prospect of gunning down non-compliant gun owners with SWAT teams. Just proves they were right.
The people of Connecticut (and southern New England) brought this Constitution-Free Zone upon themselves. It started with the mass importation of illiterate labor and Democrat votes from southern states and Puerto Rico. Now these places are ungovernable with anything short of police state tyranny.
My ancestors fled Europe and then Canada, and now we have fled New England. Because we love our families and our lives and our freedom more than any patch of dirt. Democrats have to go someplace, and that is the place my people will always be leaving.

In Connecticut they already know who isn't in compliance of the Law. They all got letters saying they had four options to be compliant. They must've gathered "lists" from Merchants or the ATF to know who owns them, in order to send them letters.
In NY Lil' Mario passed the NY Safe Gun Act and didn't exempt Police for carrying more than 7 rounds in a magazine. They now corrected that.
Outside of NYC Permits are handled by Local Sheriff Departments on the County level. There are several Sheriff's {who are elected to their positions} who have said they "will not" enforce the law.
So how can they enforce it in some jurisdictions and not in others? Or are the State Police going to enforce it in those jurisdictions?

She should be expecting a knock on the door pretty soon. You can bet your sweet bippy that old Lt. Friendly won't be one of the people knocking. It'll be 5 or 6 of those hopped up on steroids massive hulks with an itchy trigger finger wearing 6" of body armor.

Lets face it, either all of America will loose it's freedoms, or some of America will split from that which shat where it sleeps and will preserve freedom for some. Freedom for all is no longer an option, it is already lost, and not even desired by the yankee capitulators that sold it for a moments benefit. It isn't about guns.
