Trapper John (The Good One)

constipated by their own ideology

"I mean, you read Andrew Rosenthal [the op-ed page editor] in the New York Times, I mean, he's an apologist. These are people who are constipated by their own ideology, that they cannot see that this man is telling a bold-faced lie right to their face....Nobody nails this guy. And when you read, as I said, if you read the op-ed page of the New York Times, you'd think you were living in a different country. These people don't do anything."
It's no secret that most Hollywood celebrities are enthusiastic supporters of President Obama and his liberal policies, but on Fox's Cashin' In on Saturday, 1970s M*A*S*H star Wayne ("Trapper John") Rogers, now a successful businessman and investor, tore into the news media for shielding the President. "Successful Businessman and Investor" In other words he files quarterly and has been hit early by the Obama Care increase on top of the other fees and regulations. He also has enough FU money to not have to worry about finding work if he gets blacklisted by the commie show biz Mafia.

He quit acting to make real money long ago.

Many years ago I heard him speak. He was then a show biz liberal. After a few years with his own business, he seems to have made a genuine change. Every time I see him on TV, as in the FOXNews Saturday shows, he is solidly conservative. Not only that, he reliably counters the liberals they have on the show. I like him.
