Why aren't people freaking over iBeacon?

You have questions; I have answers.
People (me, et al.) are not freaking out over intrusive shopping apps because of the coupons/specials/give-aways that come with those apps.
For example, with the Gulf warming, we'll soon be swimming 3 or 4 times on nice days. I don't hang around in wet swimsuits. So that requires 6 to 10 aquatic costume changes per day. I've been sewing all winter to get ahead. It would be insane to spend $16/yard for spandex when Jo-Ann's will slash half off just for flashing my phone at them.
While the security threats are theoretical, the cash is real. -
