The
four-year NTSB investigation concluded with the approval of the
Aircraft Accident Report on August 23, 2000, ending the most extensive,
complex, and costly air disaster investigation in U.S. history.[8][9]
The report's conclusion was that the probable cause of the accident was
an explosion of flammable fuel/air vapors in a fuel tank, and, although
it could not be determined with certainty, the most likely cause of the
explosion was a short circuit.[10] As a result of the investigation,
new requirements were developed for aircraft to prevent future fuel
tank explosions.[11] [TWA
Flight 800]

Will the airline be sued out the wazoo for deliberately flying over an active war zone??? That really is gross negligence.

Russia and or their surrogates in Eastern Ukraine likely did it. There were reports the pro-Russian separatists took credit for the shoot-down, but they later retracted it. Surely a look at a map will show that Ukraine couldn't have done it. Their surface to air forces are no longer close enough to Eastern Ukraine to do it, and they didn't have any aircraft in the area. So either the Russians or their buddies in Eastern Ukraine did it.

So, what is it going to be? Beer Summit? Golf? Fundraisers?
Does it really matter? It is most certainly Bush's fault.

What will be the solution to this situation? Pool? Golf? Lawn darts? Beer summit? Fund raisers? I guess it really doesn't matter. It is Bush's fault.

Saw a BBC interview of a Ukrainian civilian. Very interesting. He said he heard several "shots" (I take that to mean loud bangs, which would be the launch of several missiles) followed a little later by the explosion when the plane hit the ground. As he was in East Ukraine, where the plane went down, I find it conclusive that a missile from that area brought the aircraft down.

Might be as manty as 23 Americans on that plane. Captain Benghazi dealt with that by going to three fundraisers today, where he spent 40 seconds commenting on what a bad thing somebody did, then launched into what a great state Delaware was because it gave us Joe Biden.
He is nauseating.
Israel is misusing the Iron Dome.
They need to put an Iron Dome on Captain Bullshit Benghazi's fucking head and the world would be better off.
The man?? is so, so low class, I wouldn't invite him to a hog butchering. He exceeds himself in setting the example for sociopath of the year every day.

Well, on the bright side, Malaysian Air at least knows where this plane is.
