In the Red States we have guns, lots of guns and stock piles of ammo, and that's not counting the guys who have stock piled reloading supplies.

,,,and people called me crazy for starting National Ammo Day. (November 19th, lest we forget.)
After 8 years' worth of Ammo Days, I have, as they say, a decent sufficiency of boolets for all my guns (for both myself and my kids).
Don't even ask me about AK ammo...
