No Warrant? Take a hike.

Good for him. I can't believe they didn't yank him out of the door and beat the crap out of him, though.

I plan to buy a "Come Back with a Warrant" door mat and put it in our front door area"

Molon, they already refused to make me a doormat with a "No Warrant? Fuck off" design. Yours may a better, if less satisfying option.

The problem boys, is that cuts both ways.
Our cops will just flip that bird right back at you and the next time some failed liberal social experiment kills somebody - they will be excruciatingly polite, expend as little effort as possible, file the reports and go for coffee and donuts.
Why bust a nut for insolent fucknuckles who have no interest in the safety of the community? - 9/4/14, 6:22 PM

Glen Filthie, it's the Constitution. If cops have the need to get retribution for someone requiring them to get a warrant, maybe the cops are getting too much money. Maybe there are too many of them. Maybe they shouldn't be in schools. That's what would motivate me to attend council meetings, and try to reduce their budget.

And maybe I won't call for an ambulance for the injured cop who cant quite reach his radio in that case.
Until they, and folks like you glen, remember who the police work for; they and you can go suck it. - 9/4/14, 8:30 PM

@glen,
Around here, we call the sheriff. Before we are threatened ("hey 911 - there's someone in my back forty loading my cows. I've disabled his truck (ranged fire), he left, but please come and ID his truck and him"}.
During the threat "hey 911, you're 1/4 mile away, but the perp (who ran 1/2 mile to my house before you got here) tried to break into my house so I shot him until he stopped moving".
After the threat "hey 911, please come and pick this guy up - if my rottweiler eats to much of his leg she'll get sick".

I give the guy credit for this stunning display of courage, but no. The correct way to handle over-excited police at the door is never answer, never open.
Every encounter with police (armed union Democrats) carries the risk of sudden death. - 9/4/14, 9:47 PM

Helly, I think yes, you are theoretically correct as usual, but tell me honestly; if two cops knocked on your door this instant-- you're not going to open the door? Same with all of us.

The answer is that if you see the police uniforms, answer the door in the same way Our Hero did: with a phone pointed at them, and politely inform them that you're streaming the call live to YouTube. Nothing ends mayhem like a spotlight.

I shared the video with my good friend Mr. Free Market over in UK-stan, and his response was priceless. After he'd finished laughing, he penned this response:
"No warrant? Fuck off!"
"Am I under arrest? No? Fuck off!"
"You want me to come down to the station to answer some questions? Am I under arrest? No? Fuck off!"
Seems about right. As the police have become increasingly belligerent and militarized (with a "police" and "civilians" mindset), we "civilians" have little recourse other than to depend on our Constitutional protections, no matter how inconvenient this may be for the police.
We didn't start this crap; they did.
And now the last part of Mr. Free Market's email:
"I think one of the interesting changes is the UK over the last 5 years is that the the Torygraph reading middle class ( i.e. people like me ) who used to represent the cops staunchest supporters have now pretty much lost all faith in them."
Same here, it seems to me, when I -- one of the greatest supporters of the police -- can pen stuff like this.

"Knock Knock"
"Who is it?"
"Police department."
"What do you want?"
"We want to talk to you."
"How many of you are there?"
"Two of us."
"Then go talk to each other." - 9/6/14, 12:03 PM

Militarized police?
With all the hip-hop wiggers rooting for ISIS, is it that bad a thing?
We are entering times of trouble, folks!
