"... this is Maryland"

Aside from looking at Drudge a few times tonight,  I've been watching [Best Ever] Inspector George Gently on NetFlix.  The wife just came inand, this is so precious I had to share.

It seems that with 75% of the vote counted, Republican Larry Hogan has 61% of the vote in the MD. Gubernatorial race over Martin O'Malleys lickspittle "token," Lt. Gov Anthony Brown.  Because Brown jumped out to an early lead indicates that Baltimore City's ballots have been counted, it makes it harder to come up with "discovered ballots" at the 12th hour.  Anyway, the TV guy, after visiting a very somber Brown H.Q.,  went to Hogan's and asked how everyone was feeling. Hogan's campaign manager said "We're upbeat, but rememberthis is Maryland!"

Ouch. LMAO.

I'll be thrilled if Hogan wins. If so, maybe poor Maryland can enjoy an Erlich II, where fiscal sanity returns.
Meanwhile here in Virginia, Ed Gillespie, a 20 point under dog, trails Uhbama Butt Boy Mark Warner by just 1% (53,000 votes). Earlier today, 25 touch screen voting machines in Hampton/Newport News (Dem strongholds) were found to be "miscalibrated"*spit*, turning Repub votes to Dem, and of course, the last precincts to turn in results (surprise, surprise) were all Dem strongholds. Meanwhile, phoney Libertarian Sarvis, sponsored by out of state Dems, sucked off 55,000 votes. Gillespie is down by just 11,000 votes. In 2013, that Sarvis asshole cost us a potentially great governor, Ken Cuccinelli, and stuck us with Clintoid McAuliffe. I think a look at Sarvis' bank account might be interesting.

It flies in the face of probability that late reporting precincts, miscalibrated voting machines, voting machines that err always err in Dems' favor, and "found" ballots are always "found" in Dem strongholds and never in Rep strongholds.
Vote fraud should be a capital offense, and voting machines and ballot boxes should always be under the two-man nuke rule, where the object is NEVER allowed alone with one person until after the vote is counted and certified.

Not entirely true. I remember that one county in the Midwest, where an election official "forgot" to include the heavily Republican districts on the vote count.

These were actual voters - she had the proper paperwork to back it up. She just left off enough people on the spreadsheet, that the Dems didn't bother to pad the count with "voters".

AFTER it was too late to manufacture voters, she released the real numbers. Boy, were the Dems furious!

Beauty Linda - do you remember when this was?

I am sure it was Wisconsin, but can't find the year or county.

Linda's right. It was in the 2012 election if I remember right. Supposedly the county itself turned in the numbers, but the state misplaced them...or something. looking for it now.

Ah, I think this is it.

"Ever since Waukesha County Clerk Kathy Nickaulous discovered during the county’s election canvass that the city of Brookfield was not included in numbers initially reported to the press, Democrats have been crying foul and claiming there was fraud.

But as reported by Wisconsin Politics Election Blog, the GAB has confirmed that the canvass numbers reported by Nickolaus match election day results reported by Brookfield"
