Well, the guy WAS a damned good gubernator here in laFlorida. Of course he has a few wacky ideas, but who the hell doesn't these days.
He'd sure's hell be a lot better than the only other candidate, which is bound to be either Shrillary or Fauxcahontas as it appears now.
Romney is probably the best candidate out there, other than Rick Perry (who frankly doesn't seem to think too well on his feet sometimes), but he doesn't campaign well.

No, I don't enjoy the RINO world, but when I have only the Fauxcahontas/Bush option, I'll hold my nose and go for the RINO.
And Shrillary is an unindicted felon who shoulda been locked up decades ago for high crimes and raging hypocrisy.
Still like for you to identify a better plan. Frankly, I'd like to see a return to this concept:

But it's just not gonna happen, not today with over half the population dependent upon the status quo in terms of welfare, food stamps, subsidized housing, permanent unemployment insurance, and so on.

Most of those posting here are against some sort of "Bush Dynasty". I can see that. But what we absolutely do NOT need is another Clinton Dynasty, which is what we will be saddled with if Shrillery manages to get elected, plus having Ol' BJ back in the White House. That is just too damn scary to even contemplate. Bocopro is right when he said that Shrillery should have been jailed years ago. But, that ain't gonna happen, not with Shyster General Holder still infesting the No_Justice Department. We will still have unanswered questins about Benghazi, Fast and Furious, the continuing lies and outright bullshit about Obamacare, etc., etc., illegal aliens, executive decrees trumping Congress about anything and everything, an on and on and on, ad infinitum, ad nauseum.

I think of all the Bushes Jeb was the best. Unfortunately he got cold-cocked by a Lawton Chiles's last minute "push-pull" phone campaign in 1994. Jeb barely lost the governor race he was favored to win, and with it his chance for the 2000 pres nomination. But like all Bushes, Jeb believes in big government. Enough is enough; I want a "Sarah Palin, with or without a dick.

Anon 704: Yes I do believe that Jeb would be better than Shrillery, but not by a lot. Actually any GOP candidate would be better than Shrillery, or Lizzy Warren, for that matter. As for me, I would really, really like to see someone like Ted Cruz or Ben Carson, or Allen West run. I was leaning a bit toward Rand Paul, but when he came out in support for The Ayatollah's crap about Cuba, that ended it for me with him. Paul can't be trusted any more than any or all of the RINOs in Congress, Shyster General Holder, or The Ayatollah and his consort, Her Royal Ayatollahness can be.
