Scorsese's Bill Clinton Documentary Shelved Over Creative Control
What your
grandparents expected would follow Legendary director and 42nd President postpone HBO project after wrestling over interview questions and final cut According to New York Times, Scorsese and Clinton are butting heads over their interviews Frost/Nixon style, with the Goodfellas director unwilling to relinquish control of the questions and their content. Considering the strong possibility that Hillary Clinton is planning her own presidential run in 2016, Bill also reportedly wants input over the documentary's final cut to ensure nothing that can harm her campaign is aired. Scorsese, for his part, is cognizant of the fact that in their push to get Obama elected in 2008, the media ended it's embargo on Hillary Clinton's sordid past that would have left almost anyone else with several decades of federal prison time left to serve. The truth is then, "already out there." |

I would hope that the democrats are as fatigued with the Clintons as Republicans are of the Bush family. Also hope Joe Biden mans up to provide a little comedy and exposure as a candidate. All that said there was plenty to know about Bill when he was elected the second time just as with Obama on his last term. Democrats are just plain more loyal to the party and conservatives are more loyal to principles. Thats how the liberals win.

I know I've commented to (what seems to me to be an) excess today, but I can't resist: I warned TFG not to count Lance Berkman and the Cards out a few years ago in the Series.
Now, I think it might not be wise to count Jim Webb out versus the skank.
Sorry. Won't inflict myself upon you any further. Today.
