The story stinks.
If there were any truth to this story, that model of "exercise equipment" would have been pulled off the market pending an investigation, and Reid would be bringing a product liability lawsuit.
Then again, it wasn't exactly reported as "a piece of exercise equipment", it was "a piece of equipment Senator Reid was using to exercise"! Maybe he was using something never intended to be used for exercise.
C'mon, Gang: What do you suppose it was, and what do you suppose he was actually doing?

Yanno, that video really pisses me off. F'in racehorse assholes! They probably ended up destroying that horse. Why? Because some F'd up trainer / owner thought they would get an advantage by running a horse that was essentially blinded so it wouldn't spook rather than take the time to calmly train it. Jackasses!
