The Duelists

Best Ever List Making

Saturday night I happened upon across "The Princess Bride," in progress.  Of course I had to watch  to it's conclusion—for maybe the 15th time.  As the credits rolled I was reminded that MFCS Rob Reiner directed two of my all time favorite movies; Bride and "This Is Spinal Tap."  Oh well, Barbara Streisand has a nice voice too - when she's singing.  But that's not what I'm wanting to say. Having decided that Princess Bride is among my all-time fav movies, I set to add 9 more and make a nice post.  Out of the  blue the mind grabbed a film I used to watch in the early 80's, on Sunday mornings, on A&E.  I forgot the name and had to Google "two french soldiers fight a series of duels"?   Duh.

To my knowledge this film has not aired publicly for a quarter century, and I've looked for it. Amazon and Google will charge $2.99 to watch it,  but Putlocker has a free download.   I cannot imaging anyone giving less than 4 stars to this 5 star film. You're welcome.  See ya later.

Best thing about The Duellists is that most women just don't get it.

Sadly there seems to be an increasing number of "men" who don't get it.
