Down here on the northern tip of South Florida, the church ladies are not happy about this Confederate Flag thing. I think it will lead to more prominent displays across the South.

It also seems to be developing into a give-me-a-reason-to-demonstrate-my-right-to-self-defense banner. But Lefties aren't taking the bait. Damn you, Trayvon.

Really? Wow, I'm starting to view Planned Parenthood in a different light...

Helly, I just saw a Cadillac with about an eight foot pole coming out the sunroof. On it was TWO 3x5 Rebel Flags, one atop the other. I'm sure it was meant to make minorities feel unwelcome. God knows we do hate the French Canadians. Gotta love the Nature Coast. -Anymouse

I was kind of hoping the prison was named Hotel California.

The US Army, a gun free zone...

Gen. Ray Odierno, chief of staff of the Army, told reporters that arming troops
in those offices could cause more problems than it might solve.

It's about "accidental discharges and everything else that goes along with having weapons that are loaded that causes injuries."

Barry Hussein's Democrat army...Changing their Star and Bars for the rainbow flag...clearing the path for conquering Islam.

(I see all kind of local trucks with the reb flags in Quebec...gotten from the Florida vacations)

BlackGenocide.org puts the number of aborted black babies at over 1800 per day in the USA or over 600,000 per year. Yet they vote as a block 95 per cent Democrat. Margaret Sanger would be ecstatic were she not in hell.

I gotta agree with that. I joined the Army in '67 and retired in '94. My first few years included two tours in Vietnam (not a combat unit). We always had our rifles and ammo. First tour, the bunkers always had frag grenades, too. Not inventoried, either. My second tour, the frags were gone but we still held onto our rifles and ammo. Later that tour we were sent a new det commander who, while playing with his .45, shot a Spec Four. The Spec 4 lived but without a spleen. In '91 while crossing the berm into Iraq, I thought about my team and wished I had some way to disarm two of them (a staff sergeant and a buck sergeant). They shouldn't've been allowed bullets (I'd preferred they were not in the Army at all. Succeeded, finally, in helping show the SSG the door). So, I can see Odierno's concern.

Well, looking at Putin's russian army and the buffoons he send in the Donbass, you'd think NONE of them should have guns! However the European, Canadian and American military I got across all looked pretty sensible to me and could be trusted with firearms anytime...Sure, you get loonies here and there but is it not one of the roles of an officer corp to root out the crazies? You get lunatics in the Police due to union protection...ever got problems with the steroid crazies? Many have...
