My weather app is showing lightning bolts all the way to bottom of the screen. Still I feel sunny inside knowing Biden can't resist the campaign swag bag even if he is a sure loser.

For any political party except the Democrats, a slate which included a self-confessed committed socialist, a mendacious and corrupt socialist and an incoherent undistinguished and stupid career politician would be a cause for panic among the party's leaders. The Democrats, however, seems just fine with the choices on offer.
Any single one of the Republican candidates (except Christie and Trump) would not only be a better President than the above, but exponentially better. (Christie and Trump would only be marginally better.) - 8/28/15, 1:42 PM

If there is a God, let Slow Joe Biden be the Democrat nominee in
2016! Pretty please with a cherry on top, let that brain-dead
idiot debate ANY Republican. I can guarantee that he will be stomped
into garden mulch by even the weakest Republican in the field! - 8/28/15, 3:11 PM

Once again I have to hang my head in sorrow for what might of been. Just imagine a world where Phil Hartman is still alive and Joe Biden is running for president. -Anymouse

Wow. Biden vs. the Hildebeast during the primaries! I'm stocking up on the popcorn. Actually, I'm not afraid of either one, as the Republicans seem to have depth of bench this time, especially since 3 of the top 5 in the current polls are 'outsiders' - exactly want most flyover types are yearning for.

The Clintons are socialist for everyone else. For themselves, they are pure capitalist. As capitalist as Trump.
And lest we forget, Biden kicked Ryan's ass in a head-to-head debate. Admittedly, mostly because Ryan was too big a wuss to challenge him.

As to Trump, I'm just as puzzled as a gay man in a room full of butch dykes.
One of the guys I work with is an uberconservative. He makes Kim look like Joe Biden. And today I got into a 'discussion' with him about Trump's Republican bona fides.
He was on and on about how Trump isn't beholden to the Party, how he isn't or won't be beholden to the lobbyists, etc. etc., etc. Which is true.
But is that it? I mean, I retorted that he is a leftist, he is and has been a democrat, he is pro choice, anti-gun, and lets face it, he is mostly just pro-Trump. That he is spouting anti-illegal shit he's read that have been on Conservative blogs for 12 years is his biggest selling point, right? And his tenacity, of course. But he's a thin-skinned buffoon, possibly more thin skinned than the current jackwagon in office. He just can't let the Megan Kelly thing go, can he?
So I'm not feeling hopeful. I think he's a Trojan Horse, and the H. Ross Perot of the decade; when he doesn't win the nomination, he'll run as an Independent, and siphon off the 4-5% needed to beat whatever scumbag the demoncrats put up, giving us 4 more years of marxism, 2-3 USSC justices, and countless lessor judges.
I'm depressed. - 8/28/15, 9:42 PM

Don't dismiss The Joe-ker. How many stupid things has he said? And yet, he's still considered a viable candidate. Why? What positive thing can be said about him by even the most loyal Democrat? It won't be his talent that makes him dangerous, but the media's obligation to the Democratic Party to not allow a Republican to look good. They are his most powerful ally, and it will be nigh-impossible to completely overcome their influence. Whoever is the Republican candidate will have to be able to speak directly to the American people in order to be effective.
