His concept of "Of course, but maybe…" is brilliant (and limitless).
But his example of "Maybe if you pick up a gun and go to fight in some other country and get shot, maybe it's not so weird" is a particularly bad example, given that, if not for people who do just that (pick up a gun and go fight in some other country) he wouldn't be able to make his living standing on a stage and talking into a microphone. He has zero sense of what some call "duty", "sacrifice" or "patriotism".

My thoughts exactly, Stu. Anyone who has watched the first gut-wrenching 20 minutes of 'Saving Private Ryan' would understand that those on that beach represent a conscience decision to lay down their lives, if necessary, for an ideal. Kinda hard seeing that example used in the mix with the other examples he mentioned. Unless it's the obligatory nod to the leftists in the audience...
