I will not presume to say what the shroud is, or whether or not it is real. What I can say is that it is not the burial cloth of Jesus. The Scriptures clearly state that the clothes He was buried in were wound around Him, binding Him as were those Lazarus was buried in and that there was a separate cloth for His head which was found beside those wound about His body after the resurrection.
