While stationed in Iwakuni, just down the road. We used to ride our bikes to Hiro every other weekend. Peace park was a beautiful monument to try to show the American as a monster. To be honest, the Japs fucking LOVED us. My Van Halen shirt would grow throngs of kids that wanted to meet the red haired 6'2" American. They didn't give a crap about that a-bomb thing, I was 100 percent pure American and they idolized all of us for nothing we ever did. But hey, it was a blast. There used to be an old man that was a frisbee ninja. He could play frisbee with ten people surrounding him. It was all amazing. The museum was sad. But all the buildings were new and modern. And that's all I have to say bout that. -Anymouse

I guess a person asking if the Japanese were planning an apology for attacking in the first place would be out of line?
or an apology to the Chinese?
