Glory be ...





London Buses Falling Down, Falling Down

Of course both signs effectively say "Glory to God."  However—the political and social consequences for each would be quite different, oui? Another lesson about how Muslims blend into the cultures they invade. Gird your loins.

Why is this happening across the so called enlightened countries of the world? Nope, not because of tolerance. Because of cowardice and lack of belief in one's own foundation. And now Islam shall swallow all the cowardly nations' peoples. We are indeed a sad state of humanity who stand for nothing and will fall for anything, just like castles built on sand. Well, it's how I see it anyway.

Since "Allah" is simply the Arabic word for God (and is, in fact, the word used by Arabic Christians to describe the God of the Bible) why is this a problem?

Reality is, the buses shouldn't be displaying signs that say glory to God, Allah, Zeus, Odin, the Flying Spaghetti Monster or any other deity.

I think that's what I said. My point was the reaction, If London (or American) buses sported a "Glory to God" sign all hell would break loose. "Glory to Allah" would have state approval (out of fear, if nothing else) lickety-split. And by the by, this is still a nation founded on Christian values.
